Yoga is becoming increasingly popular in this modern stressful world. The essence of Yoga is to keep the body, mind and spirit in a healthy state. It does this through a variety of ways such as exercise, breathing, relaxation, concentration and meditation. It is a safe regenerative form of exercise which builds a firm foundation of health. Practice leads to poise, self-confidence, vitality and increased concentration.. 2.Is Yoga suitable for me?Anyone can practise Yoga regardless of age or disability. Yoga is not merely for the young, but for everyone, whatever your ability. There are always ways and means to modify an exercise or posture to suit the individual. 3.What are the benefits of yoga?People who practise yoga benefit from increased flexibility, stamina, self confidence and strength in both body and mind. Students have remarked on how well they sleep after Yoga, how they regain calmness during stressful situations through the breathing practices and how they have changed their attitude to a more positive state. 4.What should I bring to a Yoga class?
